Nepal a year after the earthquake
February 2016, a year after the earthquake the situation in Nepal varies. Kathmandu, the capital, is rising from ruins the quickest. Although the city itself no longer resembles the one before the tragic events, at least all the debris has been dealt with. But just a few kilometres away from the capital the residents are still working hard to clear up the area from the remainings of the tragedy and rebuild their lost reality. They live on the streets, in temporary barracks. The Nepalese Government does not support them and awarded grants are not sufficient enough to cover the costs of rebuilding the houses.
